Hi, I'm Graham Hall, and I'm a customer insights specialist. I've been gathering customer insights all over the world for the past 25 years, for some of the biggest brands like Coca Cola and Nike. And I'm really looking forward to meeting you at the Source Conference next month.
In my talk, I want to explain just how valuable customer insights are, that they'll help you identify business opportunities, and help you get closer to your clients. And they'll help you make your business stand out from the competition. My talk is called the Seven Steps to Insight, and I've been developing it for those 25 years, so hopefully it'll be entertaining as well as insightful, because learning how to step outside your daily routine and put your assumptions to one side can be a liberating experience. And it's something that you and your whole staff can take part in, so it's a great team building exercise as well.
The seven steps explains how to think like a client, how to analyse what you've found, how to use your imagination, and how to go with your hunches. What comes out at the other end of that process are thoughts and ideas that you haven't currently got in your business model. And what they allow you to do is develop strategies that will give you an edge. I'm very much looking forward to seeing you at Source to speak, and sharing with you those ideas.
