My professional background is working in the Legal IT sector for the last 17 years. I am familiar with practice and case management systems, e-marketing/CRM, time recording, document management, cloud software and process and IT outsourcing models in general. My experience is gained from working with many hundreds of law firms spanning high street, mid-tier and top 30 law firms. Firstly, at PMS and Case providers Axxia/Visualfiles within LexisNexis, then as a Director of Ochresoft (conveyancing and private client cloud legal workflows). Most recently I was a member of the management team at BT Tikit as the European Consulting Director running the large law technical, project, training and implementation teams. During all this I also gained a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with Henley Business School.
I am honoured to be working as part of the Symphony Legal team specialising in strategy and legal IT for law firms. My background combined, with my MBA, ideally positions me to undertake wide-ranging reviews of systems and processes within legal firms. I have also a background in marketing, and HR is also a large element of all my senior roles so am aware of potential politics and deal with all staff sensitively and discretely.
